Legal
Acceptable Use
roor generates images and video from text. These are the things it will not generate, and what happens if you try.
Never, under any framing
Sexual content involving minors
This is refused absolutely, in every context, including fictional, artistic, stylised or “anime” framings. Attempts are logged and result in immediate suspension pending review, and may be reported to the relevant authorities. There is no appeal path that begins with rewording the prompt.
Not permitted
Explicit sexual content
Pornographic material. Artistic nudity is permitted but may be reviewed before it appears anywhere public.
Graphic real-world violence
Depictions of real atrocities, torture or mutilation. Stylised violence in a clearly fictional context is generally fine.
Impersonation of real people
Deepfakes, or content presenting a real, identifiable person saying or doing something they did not. Public figures in obviously satirical or editorial contexts may be reviewed rather than refused.
Instructions for causing harm
Weapons manufacture, explosives, or other material whose purpose is enabling serious physical harm.
Infringing someone else's work
Content that reproduces work you have no right to use. See our copyright and takedown policy.
How this is enforced
Prompts are checked before anything is generated. A refused prompt costs you nothing - no credits are reserved or charged.
Some prompts are allowed but flagged for review before the result can be shared publicly. You will not usually notice this.
Our model providers apply their own content policies as well. If a provider refuses a generation, your credits are refunded automatically.
Repeated refused attempts within a rolling 30-day window will suspend the account pending human review. Suspension is a hold, not a deletion - your existing work is not removed.
If you think we got it wrong
Automated filters over-block sometimes; that is the trade-off for catching the things that matter. If a legitimate prompt was refused, or your account was suspended in error, contact us through the contact page and a person will look at it.
